Privacy Policy

This website, corefsm.com, is operated by Simplify IA, LLC ("Simplify IA," "we," "us"), a Virginia limited liability company. CORE is our field services management platform for utilities. This policy describes what personal information this website collects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It applies to the corefsm.com website only — the CORE platform itself is governed by the agreements we sign with each customer.

We have tried to write this the way we build the product: plainly, and without asking you to take anything on faith.

The short version

• We collect personal information in exactly one place on this site: the Request a walkthrough form, and only what you type into it.
• We use it for one purpose: to respond to you about CORE.
• We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or social media tags on this site.
• The site sets no marketing or tracking cookies — the only cookie is a single technical flag our hosting provider uses to serve the site correctly.
• You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: utilities@simplifyia.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you request a walkthrough of CORE, the form asks for your name, work email address, organization, whether you are a utility or a contractor, the programs you run, and an optional description of the problem you are trying to solve. Submitting the form is entirely optional, and it is the only place on this site that asks you for personal information. The site has no user accounts, no login, and takes no payment information.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs: the IP address a request came from, the pages requested, the date and time, and the browser type. We use these only to operate and secure the site. The page you were on when you submitted the walkthrough form is recorded with your submission so we have context for your request.

Cookies. This site sets one cookie: a technical flag (sec-fetch-unsupported) our hosting provider uses to detect browser capabilities and serve the site correctly. It contains no identifier and is not used to track you. We set no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

We use the information from the walkthrough form to respond to your request, schedule and conduct the walkthrough, and follow up about CORE. We use server logs to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or security incidents. That is the complete list.

We will not add your email to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not send automated drip campaigns from this form. A person reads your submission and replies.

Who processes your information

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• HubSpot (CRM). Walkthrough form submissions are stored in our HubSpot account so our team can respond and keep track of the conversation. HubSpot processes this data on our behalf under its privacy policy and data processing terms.
• Wix (hosting). The website is hosted on Wix's infrastructure, which handles requests to the site and keeps the server logs described above. See Wix's privacy policy.
• Content delivery networks. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and open-source libraries from public CDNs. When your browser fetches those files, those services receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering them. No personal information from this site is sent to them.

We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Links on this site to other websites (for example, our LinkedIn page) take you to services with their own privacy policies; nothing is sent to them unless you follow the link.

How long we keep it

We keep walkthrough submissions for as long as there is an active conversation or business relationship, and otherwise review and remove stale records. Server logs are retained on the schedule set by our hosting provider. If you ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our CRM and not retain a marketing copy.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you are, you can email utilities@simplifyia.com to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it;
• ask us to delete it;
• opt out of any further contact from us.

We will respond within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Virginia residents have these rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request by replying to our response. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the rights to know, delete, and correct; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of. Visitors from the EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions may have similar rights under local law; we extend the rights above to everyone regardless of where they live, and we process personal information on the legal bases of consent (you chose to submit the form) and legitimate interest (operating and securing the site).

Where your information is processed

Simplify IA is based in the United States, and the service providers above process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

Children

This site is a business-to-business site directed at utility and contractor professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to our CRM is limited to Simplify IA personnel who need it to respond to you. No transmission or storage system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If we change what this site collects or how we use it, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page. We will not retroactively apply a weaker policy to information collected under this one.
